We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist in providing technical support to the business in areas of coal superintendence, production monitoring, and project work.

  • Assist Reporting Assistants with technical support
  • Support Operations Manager with auditing work, quotations, and customer interactions
  • Implement and monitor quality and innovation programs
  • Assess new equipment and procedures for validation with SOP and MOC completion
  • Investigate and implement improvements to calibrations, maintenance, procedures, equipment, and training
  • Use CCLAS/G6 at an advanced level for data entry, validation, reporting, pricing, invoicing
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications in a science-related discipline
  • Experience in the coal industry is desirable
  • Previous experience in a coal laboratory environment
  • Strong customer service and 'can-do' orientation
  • Knowledge of system and procedures for coal superintending and project sampling and analysis
  • Ability to present to customers and meet their needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
