Program Benefits Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the effective management of benefits and risks for a federal government program.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in benefits management and program management in a large-scale federal government context.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Management: Update associated documentation, including benefit profiles and registers, and facilitate workshops to discuss and manage benefits and risks.
  • Reporting Capability: Enhance benefits reporting capability to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Agile Methodologies: Support the development of a benefits management approach aligned with scaled agile methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure understanding and commitment to benefits realisation and ongoing management.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team planning, coordination, and workflow management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Extensive experience in benefits management and program management in a large-scale federal government context.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Agile Experience: Experience with Agile IT delivery, including SAFe Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Priority Management: Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels and manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
