This is a challenging role that requires the right candidate to support governance administration activities, build strong relationships with stakeholders, administer day-to-day governance tasks, and assist the team with compliance activities.
Key responsibilities include undertaking seller compliance activities with limited supervision, performing corrective actions and solving issues as they arise. Daily seller compliance task processing, insurance certification, Statement of Tax Record, and labour hire licence checks, and other applicable seller compliance activities are also required.
Administrative and secretariat support, document preparation, and contributing to the team's mandate of continual improvement to optimise governance and risk management are essential aspects of this role.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Experience in administration, procurement, contract management, or governance.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide timely, considered, and accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills with a positive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptability, resilience, multitasking, and prioritising delivery of outcomes in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
Bonus points for relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (or equivalent), or knowledge and experience in whole-of-government co-ordinated procurement.
A great opportunity exists to grow within a federal government agency with a cultural reputation and flexible working arrangements in a central location.
What You Will Gain: A supportive role with a mentoring commitment to develop your skills in federal government procurement and governance.
