Procurement and Contract Advisor Position

This role offers an opportunity to join a team in a Federal Government Agency as a Procurement and Contract Advisor.

  • Contribute to policy advice within a specialized area by providing research, analysis, and support based on policies and legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement team while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Offer procurement advice and assistance to various departments within the Agency.
  • Ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, NDIA Procurement Policy, and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring value for money outcomes and preparing reports against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare procurement-related documentation, including managing data for accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate in team planning activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in procurement, preferably within a government agency or department.
  • Experience delivering procurement advice and support, with a focus on compliance with CPRs desirable.
  • SAP experience is also considered advantageous.
