The Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance team at Baxter. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with Business Leaders by providing financial expertise and solutions to achieve commercial business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with key individuals to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of complex projects, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and effective methods to consistently enhance financial processes and systems.
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5 years + experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries.
  • Solid experience in data warehousing, reporting, analytics tools, and visualization technologies, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and JDE.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to determine root causes and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively explain complex financial concepts.
  • Motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a track record of working autonomously and achieving outcomes in a dynamic work setting.
