**The Role**

An exciting newly created role has arisen for a Pricing Analyst responsible for providing business support to our HealthCare Systems & Technologies Business Unit. In this role you will work closely with the Division Heads on preparing pricing and profitability models, price impact analysis for new tender submissions, contract renewals and annual price variations. Reporting to the Pricing & Rebates Manager, you will provide regular and detailed reporting to HST Customer Service, Commercial and Sales Teams on contract pricing changes, expiry reports, price maintenance, pricing analysis, and ad-hoc reporting when required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute regular review of COGS and Gross Margins to ensure the business achieves AOP revenue and margin profitability targets
- Run reports before month end to ensure that all prices that are set to expire at the end of the month are correct, have been reviewed, and approved to expire by the relevant Sales Team
- Maintain price maintenance master data files in Excel ensuring that changes and updates to Sales Teams are correctly and accurately undated in the master data file
- Sending out of the monthly expiry reports to each Sales Manager or HCS account manager, to ensure that all Sales Teams have sufficient time to review and validate all pricing information
- Liaise with Sales Managers and Teams to ensure that the pricing data is actioned in a timely manner and that customers notifications from the Sales Teams are filed and stored correctly for compliance
- Prepare CPI increase notifications and communicate these to the relevant Sales Teams, using Sharepoint
- Ensure that copies of all notifications sent to customers are filed correctly for future reference and compliance
- Ensure all price maintenance requests for extensions are approved correctly by the appropriate Business Unit Directors and filed for audit and compliance
- Communicate all price updates and changes to all relevant Sales Teams in a timely manner
- Liaise with the ANZ Contract Team and Segment Pricing Maintenance Teams to ensure that all price updates and maintenance for Tenders are correctly notified and updated in the systems
- Update on replacement codes and remove of all Discontinued Items in Pricelists, SAP, JDE and contracts
- Investigate, validate, and respond promptly to all pricing discrepancies, queries and differences between prices stated on a customers’ purchase order (PO) and the corresponding prices in the system for that individual customer
- Respond promptly to pricing queries from the various Sales Teams, Customers, and Distributors to ensure that the Sales Teams and customers have the correct pricing they require and all pricing queries are resolved as soon as possible
- Process all New Product requests daily within 24 hours and as per the NPS process
- Maintain data integrity in SmartQuote, SAP and JDE (ERP Systems) via continual data and pricing validations & reviews
- Ensure all pricing data and price changes have been entered into the system to ensuring no data entry errors or mistakes.

**Key Requirements of the role include**:

- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, statistics or a related disciplines
- Prior experience within pricing analysis and reporting using financial modelling
- Experience with working on Power BI, Tableau, SAP ERP or JDE ERP and advanced Excel including pivot tables is highly desirable
- Proven time-management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem solving, solution and customer focused and follow through on all queries
- Critical thinking with the ability to seek solutions and implement pricing requests to ensure that all customers are charged the correct prices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced, transactional based environment
- Experience managing multiple projects within time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders.
