The Role

This Territory Manager position requires you to be out on the road, visiting stores, ensuring stakeholders in your territory feel well-supported. Your territory encompasses North of Central Coast, Newcastle, and surrounds. You will be responsible for pharmacies within your territory, managing sales and budgets, achieving targets, and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and budgets, achieve targets, and drive growth within your allocated territory
  • Visit customers in your territory, usually 6 per day, to ensure they are aware of new products, upcoming promotions, and cycle deals
  • Plan and implement 10-week Territory cycle plans
  • Complete 1 country trip every 4 weeks
  • Build product range and volume to ensure good coverage of all products in all stores
  • Improve product positioning
  • Administer orders, keep updated with customer contact details, and order history
  • Coordinate in-store and window displays with state merchandisers
  • Coordinate promotions and catalogues
  • Train pharmacy staff members on new and existing product range as needed
  • Plan window or in-store displays/promotions
  • Accept returns on damaged or out of date products
  • Set up new accounts as needed
  • Attend relevant conferences and sales meetings
  • Liaise with internal sales and provide ongoing feedback relating to all relevant customer information

About You

You will enjoy taking ownership and striving for your individual targets while being part of a supportive and connected team. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, an understanding of retail pharmacy, strong rapport-building and interpersonal relationship-building skills, and excellent communication skills.
