Expert People Support Specialist

As a key member of the People and Culture team, this role plays a pivotal part in driving employee lifecycle support.

This is a full-time position with a flexible working arrangement, allowing for 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working across the entire employee lifecycle, providing guidance to managers on people-related matters, and collaborating with HR Business Partners to manage key issues impacting the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively supporting and advising managers on all people-related matters across the employee lifecycle
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners and broader HR team to proactively manage key people issues
  • Partnering with the HR team to provide support in areas such as general HR, recruitment administration, and process improvements
  • Working with the talent team to support workforce planning, recruitment, retention, selection, and onboarding
  • Actively engaging with stakeholders to build collaborative and positive working relationships

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience at a HR Advisory level
  • A degree or qualification in HR (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards, and policies
  • Proven experience working with EBAs
  • Excellent written communication skills and time management skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
