Assistant Human Resources Manager Job Description

This role involves providing HR support and guidance to various departments within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and guidance on employment-related matters to department heads in the absence of the HR Manager.
  • Implement grievance and disciplinary procedures in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Offer advice and guidance on recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  • Support the HR team by conducting training sessions and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
  • Manage the progress of apprentices and trainees, oversee the Resort Orientation program for new staff, administer the Health and wellbeing program, and coordinate Visa and sponsorship information.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Privacy, and Training legislation.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment, preferably in a Hotel/Resort setting of international standard.
  • Human Resources Qualification or at least 3 years of HR management experience.
  • Proven customer service skills and intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
