We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our resort's HR team. This is a generalist role with a large focus on recruitment and training, and forms part of a team of 4 providing Human Resources support for a workforce of up to 300.

Responsibilities:

  • ","
  • End-to-end recruitment, including periods of high volume recruitment;","
  • Assist the HR Manager with performance management and workplace investigations;","
  • Providing consistent and accurate advice to staff on award interpretation, workplace legislation and policies and procedures;","
  • Coordination and presentation of Resort Orientation on a regular basis;","
  • Coordination of training with RTOs and maintaining training related records;","
  • Assist with managing the seasonal worker program, including pastoral care for our workers;","
  • Monitoring and reporting relating to all Apprentices and Interns;","
  • Assisting as required with other department projects","

Qualifications:

","

Bachelor's degree in human resource management, tourism, business, or a related field.

","

Proven experience in a HR advisor, Human Resources Consultant or similar role including the understanding of the HIGA Award.

","

Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;

","

Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills;

","

A confident and discreet manner in order to appropriately manage sensitive information

","
