Business Development Director for APAC Market

We connect businesses to their customers in over 200 markets, with local acquiring in 50 markets, 150 currencies, and 700 alternative payment methods.
About the RoleWe are seeking an ambitious Business Development Director to lead our fast-growing SDR team in the APAC market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in accelerating the distribution of Nuvei's/Till Payments' products by starting, running, and growing a team focused on uncovering new outbound opportunities and qualifying inbound leads.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of Sales Development experience, preferably both inbound and outbound, and 1-2 years' experience running Sales Development Teams or SaaS Account Executive experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, onboard, and train a growing team of SDRs who are responsible for generating new business pipeline for Business Development Managers via inbound/outbound initiatives and activities.
- Be a hands-on leader to support prospecting and qualification until the team grows to a sufficient size where this is not effective.
- Track and measure key performance indicators for yourself and your team.
- Demonstrate best practice and up-to-date knowledge of our products and the value to potential and existing clients – and pass this on to your team.
- Manage your time efficiently and prioritize your workload to generate your own results as well as your team's.
- Proactively engage with potential and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrate an ability to attract new customers.
- Expand market knowledge and awareness through your own research and pass this on to your team.
- Ambitious individual with a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role.
- Ambition to lead and manage others as well as maintaining your own quota.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Competitive estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on experience.
