About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker in the Mount Gravatt area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining the home environment to ensure a safe and comfortable living space for our customers.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping our customers with meal preparation and grocery shopping to ensure they have access to nutritious food.
  • Social Support: Providing emotional support and companionship to our customers, as well as facilitating access to lifestyle activities and social events.
  • Transportation: Assisting our customers with transportation to appointments and social events.

Requirements
  • Current P1 Class or Above Australian Drivers License: You must have a valid driver's license and a registered vehicle to travel to customer locations.
  • Compassion and Empathy: You must be able to provide compassionate and empathetic care to our customers, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You must be able to think critically and solve problems independently, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions.
  • Availability: You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
