About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide care and support to clients in their homes. As a Community Care Worker, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferences
  • Support clients with transportation and community access
  • Monitor clients' condition and report any changes in condition or behavior
  • Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance, including administering medication, manual handling, and domestic assistance
Requirements
  • Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or similar) or studying towards equivalent (or higher qualification)
  • Experience of working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations
  • Have your own vehicle and a Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver's Licence with comprehensive insurance and service history
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate or willingness to obtain (prior to commencement)
  • Ability to obtain positive notice in the legislatively required personal history check in line with service stream compliance requirements
