We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Mount Gravatt 4122 area. As a Home Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly customers, providing them with the support and care they need to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining the home of our customers to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transportation to appointments and social events to promote social interaction and community engagement.

What We Look for in a Home Care Worker:
  • You are passionate about assisting our elderly community and promoting their independence and dignity.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle to ensure safe transportation of our customers.
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers above all else.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek support from your Manager.
