About the Role

A forward-thinking industry leader, White Bay, is seeking a seasoned Head of Corporate Sales to spearhead its corporate client portfolio expansion.

This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to drive exceptional growth and client engagement through strategic sales leadership, collaborating with senior leaders to implement impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Corporate Sales team across various venues, fostering a culture of excellence in sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with company growth targets, driving business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of B2B clients, ensuring client retention and satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Act as the primary brand ambassador, maintaining and nurturing corporate client relationships through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement lead generation strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Lead tender proposals for government and private contracts, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Support event execution, ensuring venues meet company standards for presentation and quality.
  • Foster relationships with event suppliers, negotiating contracts to align with budget goals and enhance the customer experience.
  • Mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews for the Corporate Sales team, promoting growth and development.
  • Remain informed on industry trends, representing the company at events and networking opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years in corporate sales, preferably with B2B or events industry experience.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering on growth strategies.
  • Established network within Sydney's corporate and government sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with a commitment to team development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database management.
