Project Manager for Complex Mining Operations

Delivering complex projects requires a collaborative approach and a deep understanding of project management principles.
The successful candidate will effectively manage office or onsite activities to ensure the timely delivery of the project. They will lead a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing assigned tasks, manage the work according to the project schedule, and monitor costs.
A proven track record of successfully managing scope changes and trends is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating, and reporting.
- Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 12 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects, EPCM/EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel being looked upon favourably;
- Previous experience in process plants and mining projects in operations or construction is essential;
- Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting;
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- A strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment.
