Leadership Opportunity

The position of Senior Mining Operations Manager is now available at our mining operation.

This is a Monday to Friday role with an RDO and flexi-day options each month. The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Services Director.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead and facilitate a team of mining engineers in delivering 0-3 month and 3+ month to LOM plans and schedules, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Tech Services team and other departments on site, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mining Engineering or a relevant tertiary qualification (Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying background is acceptable).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a leading Senior or Superintendent in a Technical Services department within open-cut mining operations.
  • Mandatory residence/relocation within the Newcastle/Lower Hunter Valley Region.
  • AU working rights are essential, and no sponsorship is offered.
