Strategic Implementation Director

FIS Australia seeks a seasoned Strategic Implementation Director to drive the success of customer implementations for our Ambit Lending product suite. With a strong track record in leading large, transformational projects and managing external customers, this individual will be responsible for directing FIS project teams towards on-time, on-budget results.

About the Role:

  • Project oversight for high-profile programs, including escalation management, budget oversight, risk mitigation, and customer steering meeting attendance.
  • Customer relationship management of assigned client portfolio, ensuring exceptional satisfaction.
  • Create Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Change Requests as needed.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within the Professional Services Practice.
  • Manage projects from inception to close, focusing on key aspects of success: scope, budget, accurate forecasting, risk mitigation, issues resolution, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading large-scale projects, working with external customers in a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to execute flawlessly and motivate others to achieve the same.
  • Highly articulate communication skills, conveying important messages clearly and compellingly at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives and Boards, comfortable addressing large public audiences or senior-level clients.
  • Industry knowledge in banking/financial services and end-to-end software implementation expertise (preferably at a software vendor).
  • Ability to take a hands-on approach in managing customers, foreseeing and proactively resolving customer issues and escalations.
  • Capacity to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients 25-50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Commercial Lending software implementations.
