Job Overview

The role of Account Manager – Instrument and Consumables Sales is a vital position that supports business growth across Australia. We are seeking an individual who can nurture existing customers, prospect for new customers, develop business strategies, meet or exceed sales targets, conduct customer demonstrations, collaborate across departments, prepare business plans, manage product mix and pricing, and adhere to health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurture existing customers to grow repeat business.
  • Prospect for new customers and expand accounts and contacts.
  • Develop business development strategies to ensure a healthy sales funnel.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Conduct customer demonstrations with demo lab specialists.
  • Collaborate across departments for customer success.
  • Prepare business plans, reports, and product solutions for customers.
  • Manage product mix and pricing to meet targets.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements on-site.
  • Update CRM daily for accurate data sharing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience in chromatography and/or mass spectrometry.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS.
