About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Endava Limited. As a key member of our Commercial discipline, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Identify new clients and introduce them to our capabilities and IT services, guiding them through the entire sales cycle to offer solutions that enable them to achieve business goals through enterprise transformation of their IT environment.
  • Lead Generation: Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle focused on the sales process from the acquisition of new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth, developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals, applying your deep knowledge of the industry, its technological landscape, and the complex challenges it faces to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within your vertical.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives, consistently delivering revenue goals, and exceeding your personal financial goals by growing your book-of-business, driving revenue growth, and achieving uncapped commission in our aggressive commission model.
  • Thought Leadership: Participate in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences to share your expertise and insights, and participate in external industry events.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8-10+ years of new business development experience focused on selling offshore/nearshore IT Professional Services, with significant experience within the SCM, Logistics or Travel industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry technological trends and challenges, with an existing, warm network of contacts and/or previous customers in SCM, Logistics or Travel.
  • Sales Skills: Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives to drive sales opportunities for large enterprise clients, with a strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.
  • Education: Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a demonstrated track record of success in new business development, achieving £5M+ quota per year.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel: Travel is an integral part of this role, and the individual will need to travel locally, within the country, and internationally as needed to perform the role.
  • Physical Demands: Work-related tradeshows or live events may require the individual to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
