The Queensland Government is seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to lead the curriculum focus in alignment with school and departmental priorities.
About The RoleYou will contribute to delivering the vision of the State Schools Division, drive the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices, and foster strong, positive relationships among students, staff, and key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Participate actively in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
- Manage human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the curriculum areas or whole school program to achieve goals.
