The Assistant Director of Special Education is a key leadership position responsible for driving educational excellence and promoting student achievement.

  • Lead the Special Education Program to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
  • Support the Principal in delivering the school's educational vision and deputising when required.
  • Embed socially just practices and foster a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
  • Build and sustain positive partnerships with parents, agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead curriculum, teaching, and learning innovations that promote quality outcomes for all students.
  • Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the SEP to achieve organisational goals.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to build strong, collaborative relationships across the school and community.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to improved educational outcomes.
