About the Role

As Director, you'll guide a passionate team dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking someone with:

  • A strong knowledge of and experience with:
  • The Education and Care Services National Law Act and the Education and Care Services Regulations.
  • The Quality Improvement and Assessment Rating System.
  • Emergent Curriculum (EYLF – Early Years Learning Framework).
  • Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
  • Anti-Discrimination and Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy.
  • An excellent ability to manage and motivate staff including demonstrated leadership skills, experience in delegation, negotiation, conflict resolution and supervision.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development techniques and ability to work with young children.
  • Advanced communication skills in verbal and written English.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and Kidsoft.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to diffuse conflict, use tact, and discretion and remain confidential.
