English Education Director

The position of English Education Director involves leading the educational and teaching program to support the school's mission. This entails implementing suitable curriculum, developing pedagogical approaches, monitoring student learning and teacher practice, using data analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement national, state, and local curriculum requirements in the English department
  • Develop and implement effective pedagogies at all levels
  • Monitor student learning and teacher practice through supervision and data analysis
  • Build partnerships within and outside the school
  • Prudently administer available resources
Essential Qualifications:
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Professional qualifications in Education
  • Fully supportive of Catholic Education's ethos
