
Director of Curriculum Innovation

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our curriculum development efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in curriculum design, implementation, and assessment.
- Develop and implement curriculum initiatives aligned with school and departmental priorities.
- Contribute to delivering the vision of the State Schools Division.
- Strengthen the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the curriculum areas or whole school program to achieve goals.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education or a related field.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
