Event Operations Specialist

You will be responsible for supporting world-class events, including banquets, exhibitions, tradeshows, entertainment, and award-winning food and beverage service. Our team of Event Operations Specialists ensures that clients' expectations are met with a 'can-do' attitude by providing an environment that is both inspirational and adaptable.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining customer service standards and providing effective leadership and direction to all event team members.
  • Plan events in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients regarding event details.
  • Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol policy compliance at all catered functions.
  • Deliver pre-event briefings to team members.
  • Manage employee relations.
  • Ensure team members work safely and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior leadership experience in large banqueting or food and beverage environments.
  • Credentials for coordinating exhibition/tradeshow-style catering.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, lead, and direct teams of 100+ members.
  • Holding RMLV Certificate and Approved Manager Licence, or ability to obtain them quickly, along with RSA compliance management experience in large venues.
