- Coordinate all aspects of the event processes for Dreamworld to ensure the smooth running of events
- Conferencing, parties, weddings and everything in between

Dreamworld and WhiteWater World provide days of happiness for the whole family. From Thrill Rides, to ABC Kids World, Tiger Island and Dreamworld Corroboree, only at Dreamworld can you experience it all. We currently have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and established Events Coordinator to join our Sales Team at Australia's Biggest Theme Park.

**Key duties will include**:

- Manage the coordination of all internal and external events at Dreamworld, from initial concept to after event follow up
- Liaise with clients to establish needs and expectations for the event
- Advise and direct clients with price and information on events
- Manage all aspects of invoicing and payments for events
- Maintain accurate data in the events systems and databases
- Attend client events where necessary to meet clients and oversee event
- Coordinate and attend showcase events and host prospective clients for famils and site visits
- Identify and contribute to sales and marketing opportunities, identify and complete market research and react to sales for incoming business and repeat clients as instructed by department
- Liaise with internal departments to successfully facilitate and coordinate all elements of an event
- Maintain, update and distribute events information (BEOs)
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly BEO meetings
- Liaise with suppliers, including but not limited to theming & staging, AV and entertainment
- Up selling event components
- Liaising with a range of suppliers for safety and event requirements

**Applicants must satisfy the following criteria**:
To be considered, you will have a minimum of 2 years proven experience within a similar, high volume conference/ events environment, including a strong understanding of the event process from sales through to operations. You will have the ability to coordinate large scale complex events.
You must be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and positive energy, whilst injecting excitement into everything you do. Strong administration skills and the ability to work under pressure of competing deadlines are essential, along with the flexibility to work weekends if required during peak periods and attend events which may fall outside of standard operating hours. Experience using Ivvy highly desirable.
