Job Title: Events Coordinator Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Events Coordinator Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional events.
  • You will be responsible for conducting daily pre-shift briefings to employees on preparation, service & menu, as well as assigning responsibilities and tasks to frontline staff and monitoring their performance.
  • In this role, you will need to adapt quickly with autonomy due to any last-minute changes, ensuring that our events run smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will communicate effectively and coordinate between chefs, wait staff, beverage staff, clients and other support staff to deliver a high standard of service to members and guests.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to train and develop staff members skills in F&B and customer service, providing excellent training and development opportunities.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Coordinator Manager to join our team and take on a leadership role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in banquets or events is essential for this role.
  • You will require experience in high standard customer service, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service at all times.
  • An excellent communication skillset and the ability to work as part of a team is also required, as well as a keen eye for detail and a friendly and positive attitude.
  • We are looking for someone who is fast and efficient, confident and reliable, with the ability to self-motivate and identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.

Additional Requirements:

  • You will need to hold a current Qld RSA certification.
