Job Title: Case Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Case Officer in our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join us in managing claims related to insurance, superannuation, and other benefits. As a Case Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for claimants and beneficiaries, ensuring timely and accurate processing of their claims.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lodging and triaging claims, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Managing death claims distribution through case management to payment;
  • Undertaking the claim staking process, including investigating and verifying claims data;
  • Delivering high-quality customer service to claimants and beneficiaries, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Actioning and completing claim work within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalating any potential SLA risks;
  • Providing information regarding account details without providing financial advice;
  • Participating in training and upskilling to build knowledge and skills within yourself and your team;
  • Contributing positively and collaboratively to the success of shared team goals;
  • Making recommendations to the Trustee on all product claims;
  • Reporting and managing dissatisfaction feedback and service complaints;
  • Attending to all forms, correspondence, filing, and record maintenance associated with claims management, family law splits, and financial hardship;
  • Ensuring our integrity is maintained and risk exposure minimised by adhering to policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience as a Claim Administrator or in a similar role;
  • Superannuation or industry experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Process-oriented with great attention to detail;
  • Proven ability to work outside core hours.
