Electrical Asset Manager: Lead the Way to a Sustainable Future

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Manager to join our team at AusNet Services in Southbank. This role is based in a hybrid split (Office/WFH) setting with occasional travel to depots as required.
About the RoleThis is a key position responsible for overseeing the inspection and assessment of our distribution electrical infrastructure assets. As an Electrical Asset Manager, you will lead teams, manage asset risk, and coordinate with various stakeholders to optimize the asset lifecycle and ensure operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Inspection Protocols: Develop and implement inspection protocols for electrical assets, including Electricity Distribution lines, substations, transformers, and other critical infrastructure.
- Ensure Compliance and Efficiency: Ensure that routine inspections and assessment activities are performed on time and in accordance with standards and policies.
- Optimize Operational Performance: Monitor the operational performance of assets and make recommendations for optimizing efficiency, reducing outages, and extending asset life.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis: Lead the root cause analysis of operational failures and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Experience in Asset Management: Experience in asset management, operations, or maintenance in the electricity or utility industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of electricity transmission and distribution systems, as well as regulatory and safety requirements.
- Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
