AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Asset Inspector to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform non-invasive testing on overhead lines and electrical assets. As an Electrical Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service condition assessments using various techniques such as thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, and radio frequency detection.

About the Role
  • Perform non-invasive testing on overhead lines and electrical assets using various techniques
  • Deliver detailed reports in a timely manner and contribute to works planning
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Safe driving in a variety of environments and traffic management
  • Reporting on all safety issues and concerns
  • Meeting company and customer service level agreement targets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent safety driving record
  • Category 1 Thermographer (preferred)
  • Traffic management skills (preferred)
  • 4WD training (preferred)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
  • Ability to read maps and navigate
What We Offer

AusNet Services Ltd offers a competitive salary package, including:

$95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
