Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Reporting Lead - Energy Transition Specialist to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team, you will play a critical role in advancing our sustainability agenda and ensuring best practice sustainability disclosures.

Job Description:
  • Central Reporting Function: Support the establishment of a best-in-class central reporting function across the Annual Report, Sustainability Data book, Modern Slavery Statement and UNGC Communication on Progress.
  • Sustainability Disclosures: Develop, coordinate approvals, and manage the delivery of APA's sustainability disclosures, including the Sustainability Roadmap quarterly performance reports, the sustainability content of the Annual Integrated Report and Sustainability Databook, and the Climate Report, UN Global Compact COP, and other reports as applicable.
  • Data Collection and Management: Work closely with report content owners to collect accurate and relevant data for reporting purposes.
  • ESG Research and Analysis: Actively research, monitor and manage ESG issues, standards, emerging trends and legislation that could impact the business and provide strategic analysis and insights to relevant business leaders and management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant work experience in a related discipline.
  • An experienced Reporting specialist with at least 5 years' experience in a reporting role within an ASX-listed company, large multi-stream program environments or supporting a multidisciplinary operational function.
  • Direct experience in leading end-to-end sustainability reporting processes including assurance processes.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and working across multiple functions within an organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of and familiarity with relevant reporting standards (e.g. Global Reporting Initiatives, IFRS, etc.) and clear understanding of sustainability issues and relevant emerging trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data analytic skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
