About the Role:

In this permanent, full-time position, the Specialist Management Accounting will play a crucial role in supporting the Principal Analysts within the finance team. This position is essential for delivering high-quality analysis and benchmarking related to key business drivers, as well as overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of revenue, cost, capital performance, and production metrics for designated operations.
  • Execute and validate forecasting activities for selected operations.
  • Assist in the management of the budgeting and forecasting system, focusing on system support and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Generate comprehensive financial data and analyses to support the Principal Marketing Business Partner.
  • Contribute to budget preparation and assist with half-year and year-end reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports on critical business metrics.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the resource industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial and business analysis.
  • Experience with broad management reporting.
  • Ability to engage positively with a diverse range of stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.
  • Proficient in systems such as SAP, BI, and TM1.
  • Skilled in data manipulation and financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a curious mindset to critically assess information and data.
