Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Specialist to conduct assessments, develop support plans and programmes, and supervise other practitioners in the Newcastle region.
About the Role
This Behavioural Specialist position involves providing direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions, developing Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans, supporting Behaviour Therapists and Support Workers, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation of incidents and plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist
- High-level oral and written communication skills, including technical report preparation
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Current NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle
- Willingness to complete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour Support
