Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Specialist

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to deliver trauma-informed care and support children and young people with complex trauma in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will provide expert therapeutic knowledge, expertise, and support to clients through the development of treatment plans and leading reflective practice sessions to analyse risk and behaviours of concern.
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing goal-oriented services that meet client needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Building strong positive relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Developing, delivering, and monitoring positive behaviour support strategies
Required qualifications and skills include:
- A degree-level qualification in a related health field such as Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Counselling
- Registration with AHPRA, AASW, PACFA, or ACA
- Demonstrated experience in delivering support services to children, adolescents, or adults with challenging behaviour
- Strong understanding of positive behaviour support approaches, including Restrictive Practices in a therapeutic setting
The position offers a competitive salary package, flexible working arrangements, and a vehicle allowance.
Attractive remuneration up to $90,000 + $12,000 vehicle allowance per annum.
