Position Overview
We are looking for a Water & Wastewater Engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Water & Wastewater, you will be supported by a national team of over 260 specialists. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a project delivery team, ensuring client commitments are met while fostering client trust and satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing significant water and wastewater projects, from initial planning and coordination to detailed design and construction execution.
  2. Mentoring and supervising junior engineers and staff.
  3. Acting as a primary technical advisor for the engineering team.
  4. Collaborating with various teams and offices to promote an integrated design methodology.
  5. Providing expert technical contributions to feasibility assessments and conceptual designs.
  6. Conducting construction cost estimations for budgeting and financial planning.
  7. Preparing comprehensive reports and delivering technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  8. Managing the planning and design of various project components, including reports, hydraulic models, design calculations, technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications.
  9. Coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and community members to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Demonstrated experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure planning and project management is essential.
Experience in water and wastewater network modeling is necessary.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing diverse teams.
Experience in project management is required.
Ability to contribute to business development efforts and pursue new client opportunities is important.
A strong history of leading technical engineering teams and successfully managing water and wastewater projects is expected.
