About the Role

This is a permanent leadership position within the Treatment and Resource Recovery team at Water Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operations and maintenance teams of the Water Resource Recovery (WRR) section to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient water services to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of assigned WRR infrastructure assets, including complex water recycling plants, recycled water injection bores, ocean outfalls, and Water Corporation's Water Resource Innovation Precinct processes and systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership across the team and ensure the successful embedding of corporate strategies into the team.
  • Manage relationships with key contractors, commercial customers, and community stakeholders to provide excellent business and customer outcomes.
  • Drive customer value by delivering outcomes that are livable, sustainable, and productive.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in engineering or a suitable approved alternative tertiary-level qualification.
  • Extensive experience in water or wastewater operations or maintenance.
  • Substantial leadership and operational management experience.
  • Substantial experience and demonstrated capability of leading the delivery of capital-intensive and customer-focused essential services in a large state-wide organization.
  • Considerable experience in delivery of business strategy and the implementation of change.
