About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Officer to join our team at Unity Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our drinking water supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in water quality management to Unity Water staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of water management plans to meet statutory requirements.
  • Review and analyze water quality data to identify emerging issues and trends.
  • Participate in the review and audit of water management plans and contribute to the development of water quality performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or engineering with a focus on chemistry, microbiology, or biochemistry.
  • Experience in the water industry and/or knowledge of drinking water and recycled water management practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate successful outcomes in complex situations.
  • The ability to produce accurate reports and data analysis, including the ability to self-review and identify inconsistencies.
