About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic Water Resources team in Sydney.

As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of significant multidisciplinary projects, working with a diverse network of clients, stakeholders, and skilled professionals.

Our team's holistic approach to engineering solutions integrates the expertise of ecologists, water resources engineers, and civil engineers.

This role will allow you to shape the technical direction of projects, identify and mitigate risks, and drive innovative solutions for wetland projects from concept to detailed design and construction.

Collaborating with a national team of Water Resources practitioners, you will have access to a broad range of projects across various industries.

You will also have opportunities to take on roles in project management and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) principles to stormwater management projects
  • Design stormwater treatment systems, waterway corridor rehabilitation, and stormwater harvesting and reuse
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling, including experience with RORB and TUFLOW
  • Collaborate with a national team of Water Resources practitioners
  • Take on roles in project management and business development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in using software such as MUSIC or other stormwater quality modeling tools
  • Strong experience with GIS applications like QGIS, Arc GIS, and Map Info
  • Expertise in WSUD projects
  • Solid background in hydrological and hydraulic modeling
