We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design water infrastructure team in Sydney or Newcastle. As a key member of our ANZ Water sector, you will engage in water engineering planning and design across NSW and the ANZ region.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in water infrastructure design and planning projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and client requirements.
  • Support the ANZ Water performance unit through proposal writing and design tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in water engineering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, mechanical, process)
  • At least 5 years of experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and/or conveyance infrastructure design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and maintenance practices, as well as relevant industry codes and standards
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to project manage small to medium engineering design projects
