Job Description:
The Senior Procurement Specialist will be a key member of our procurement team, responsible for influencing relationships with all levels of the organisation to drive value-focused outcomes. This role involves supporting key procurement objectives, ensuring a streamlined procurement and contract function with high levels of compliance, efficient and cost-effective purchasing, and oversight of well-governed procurement systems that mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:
This position requires significant experience in complex procurement environments, preferably from a government setting, along with a tertiary or postgraduate qualification. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in partnering with diverse stakeholders at senior levels, building partnerships, relations, and driving change. They will also have in-depth knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in contract authoring and administration, as well as comprehensive tender process expertise, including leading evaluation panels in complex tenders.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to implement system change, and produce informative reports. You'll also require excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the capacity to prepare procurement and technical documents.
