Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Performance Leader to join our team at Central Coast Council. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the development, submission and implementation of the Water and Sewer IPART pricing submission process.

About the Role

This role will see you leading a newly created team in the development and submission of pricing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and alignment with organisational objectives. As a Strategic Performance Leader, you will foster healthy collaboration across the broader Water and Sewer directorate to identify business efficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Lead a team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Foster collaboration to identify business efficiencies and implement improvements
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management, Finance or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing pricing submissions within a regulated industry (Water, Energy, transport)
  • Ability to lead and implement business improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to present data to influence decision-making

Benefits

  • Salary range $99,700 - $119,600 plus 15k market loading, plus 11.5% superannuation
  • Permanent full-time position available
  • Access to 9 day fortnight arrangement
