Strategic Procurement Leader

The City of Cockburn is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the procurement function and drive value-focused outcomes. This role will be responsible for influencing relationships with all levels of the organisation to support key procurement objectives.
The successful applicant will have significant experience in a complex procurement environment, preferably from a government environment, and a tertiary or postgraduate qualification. They will also have extensive experience in partnering with multiple diverse stakeholders at senior levels and building partnerships, relations, and influencing change.
The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in authoring contracts and contract administration, as well as a well-developed analytical skill set to implement system change and produce informative reports.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the procurement function and drive value-focused outcomes

- Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
- Extensive experience in partnering with multiple diverse stakeholders at senior levels

- Well-developed analytical skills to implement system change and produce informative reports
