We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Director to lead our projects in the Logan region. With a strong presence across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, Shadforth Civil Contractors offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive growth and success in our civil construction sector.

About the Role
  • Lead multiple projects across Infrastructure, Subdivisions, Community Projects, and Roadworks
  • Oversee project planning, programming tasks, and ensure project compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Accountable for ensuring project financial performance and client relationships

This is a senior role that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to deliver projects to agreed outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience of civil construction and subdivision works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and managing employees, subcontractors, procurement, and necessary equipment
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training of relevant staff
  • Managing project finances and assessing monthly forecasts

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced individual who can demonstrate excellent people management abilities and a proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil Construction, previous experience in delivering subdivision projects highly regarded
  • Strong skills in managing client relationships and building positive relationships with subcontractors

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
