Senior Government ExecutiveThis is a high-profile leadership position that will spearhead AWS's engagement with Australian federal government agencies.
About the Role:This critical role drives cloud adoption strategies and manages a team of account managers, solutions architects, and technical specialists.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on the Australian federal government sector.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow AWS's presence across federal agencies.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers in federal government departments and agencies.
- Work closely with customers to understand their mission objectives and develop solutions that address their unique challenges.
- Collaborate with AWS security and compliance teams to ensure offerings meet the specific requirements of Australian government agencies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of the Australian federal government sector.
Requirements:- 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of sales management experience.
- Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent.
- Experience working with Australian federal government agencies and understanding of their procurement processes.
