Account Manager - Federal Territory

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales pipelines, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, and working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase adoption of cloud services in a defined territory
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT and utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers
  • Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Create and articulate a compelling value proposition to customers
  • Analyse sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement - Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management and/or business development in the IT industry
  • Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales
  • Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling cloud and/or SaaS solutions into government
  • Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
