We are expanding and seeking a Channel Partner Manager focused on Southeast Asia, based in our Sydney office. This position entails overseeing all interactions and sales initiatives with our channel partners, including direct engagement with clients primarily for strategic business development. The Channel Partner Manager is tasked with fostering the continuous growth of their partners' businesses and teams, while collaboratively managing their pipeline and forecasts. Additionally, this role will involve establishing channel relationships from the ground up.

Role Overview
  • Assume responsibility for the strategy, sales, and execution of forging new and enhancing existing partnerships across Southeast Asia.
  • Drive strategic sales and account management in collaboration with your partners, focusing on both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements while effectively balancing organizational objectives, speed, and economic viability.
  • Assess the financial and non-financial advantages and risks associated with new and ongoing partnerships.
  • Monitor, report, and enhance partnership performance, identifying issues as they arise, evaluating potential solutions, and implementing them.
  • Manage your partners' portfolio targets and ensure delivery of results.
  • Work alongside various teams to cultivate and sustain a pipeline of relationships with prospective partners, taking ownership of the relationship throughout all phases.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within Southeast Asia or to partner/customer locations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology sales or business development is essential.
  • Experience in SaaS sales or business development for 5 years is advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Asian market is a plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a beneficial asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing Channel Partners or Resellers is preferred.
  • Proven sales background with a successful track record from opportunity identification to closure.
  • Strong skills in account and quota planning.
  • Capability to manage an entire project or sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, initiative, and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
  • Experience and confidence in public speaking is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid visa to work in Australia.
