We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join our Legal Excellence & Risk team in a full-time or part-time capacity.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide professional support to our national Banking & Financial Services practice, working closely with the Head of Knowledge to deliver key initiatives and projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering Practice training sessions to enhance knowledge sharing and skills development.
  • Facilitating technical solutions and document process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Drafting and maintaining precedents and style guides to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Championing compliance with firm-wide style guides and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms.
  • Conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team to identify areas for improvement.
  • Writing key matter summaries for business development and marketing purposes.
  • Maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Banking & Finance practice group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of four years post-admission experience in banking or financial services drafting.
  • Excellent document drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to project manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in knowledge sharing and precedent development, with a commitment to quality and excellence.
