Job Title: Expert Legal Knowledge Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an Expert Legal Knowledge Specialist to join our growing Legal Excellence & Risk team on a full-time or part-time basis (four days per week).

The role reports directly to the Head of Knowledge and involves working closely with the highly regarded Knowledge team to provide professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services, and Tax sections.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Knowledge and section leaders to develop and implement precedents and projects plans for national Commercial practice groups.
  • Foster the development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements.
  • Draft and maintain high-quality precedents.
  • Promote style guide compliance as a champion.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms.
  • Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team.
  • Write key matter summaries for business development purposes.
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes and provide regular updates to Commercial practice groups.
  • Prepare and deliver legal educational training sessions.
  • Deliver style, precedents, and writing training to the organization.
About You

Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law.
  • A strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance.
  • Advanced document drafting and contract review skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize and project manage autonomously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A keen interest and experience in delivering training sessions.
