We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our Melbourne-based team at Davidson. This pivotal role is crucial in safeguarding critical infrastructure by identifying, analyzing, and coordinating the remediation of security vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to oversee threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and risk reduction efforts across both IT and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and prioritize new vulnerabilities detected from our organization's vulnerability management tools.
  • Analyze and interpret threat intelligence data from external third-party feeds to proactively address potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with application owners and internal support teams to develop targeted remediation plans, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Monitor and report on vulnerability trends, resolution progress, and relevant metrics to key stakeholders, providing a clear view of risk status and actions.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in vulnerability management processes, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Tenable Nessus, Dragos, and CrowdStrike.
  • Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF, VPDSS, ASD Essential 8, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders to implement necessary security measures.
  • Exposure to both IT and OT/ICS environments is highly advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This contract offers a competitive estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities.
