The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to oversee threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and risk reduction efforts across both IT and OT environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and prioritize new vulnerabilities detected from our organization's vulnerability management tools.
- Analyze and interpret threat intelligence data from external third-party feeds to proactively address potential security risks.
- Collaborate with application owners and internal support teams to develop targeted remediation plans, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Monitor and report on vulnerability trends, resolution progress, and relevant metrics to key stakeholders, providing a clear view of risk status and actions.
- Demonstrated experience in vulnerability management processes, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Tenable Nessus, Dragos, and CrowdStrike.
- Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF, VPDSS, ASD Essential 8, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders to implement necessary security measures.
- Exposure to both IT and OT/ICS environments is highly advantageous.
This contract offers a competitive estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities.
